Making Your Website Stand Out!

In this digital age we live in, it’s very rare for a business not to have some kind of online presence; especially in the form of a website. So, how can you make your website stand out against your competitors? Here are my top tips…

Be Brand Consistent

Building a successful brand takes a lot of thought and even more consistency. Think about how your website looks to your audience, are your brand colours and fonts consistent across your whole website? Is your brand voice nailed down? Will your audience be in any doubt that your website is legitimate and belongs to you?

Make it Highly Responsive

A highly responsive website is key. With a lot of people now choosing to browse company websites on their mobiles, your website needs to be mobile and desktop friendly. The best way to see if you have achieved this is by regularly testing it. Visit your website on a mobile and click on the various buttons, menus and contact elements to see if they all work as they should.

Update Regularly

For your website to stand out, you need to ensure you are updating it regularly and showing your customers you are an active business in the marketplace. Have your opening hours or contact details changed? Do you have any unmissable special offers or sales? Do you regularly update your blog content or videos? Keep your website fresh so your visitors want to stay and browse.

Make it all About Your Customers

Even though your website points to you and your business it is ultimately all about your customers and how you can help them. Provide some company information and background for anyone who wants to find out this information but focus your website content on what you can do for your customers and why you should be the one to do it for them.

Are you happy with your current website? Consider going through your website now with fresh eyes and use my tips above to help you. If you need some extra support or a second pair of eyes to look over your website, I would be more than happy to help. Just send me a message here to get started.
