5 Ways to Attract More Customers

Customers are the most important aspect of business and no matter how excellent your product or service, you simply don’t have a business without paying customers. In this blog we will be exploring how you can attract more customers to your business using the digital tools available.

Create an Optimised Website

The reason I have included a website first on this list is that it gives your business a ‘home’ that you can refer to, direct your customers and list your services, products and contact details. One of the first things people do if they are interested in using a business is to head to their website to read more about them and what they can offer. As a side note, you do want to optimise your website as much as possible so your potential customers aren’t put off by an outdated, slow or hard to navigate space. Read more about why website optimisation is important on my blog here.

Boost Your Social Media Presence

Social media, your ‘home away from home’ and you can utilise it in so many ways to reach your target audience. Ensure your profiles are up to date, contain the relevant information you need your customers to know and that you are posting regularly. There are no hard and fast rules with social media, once you are posting consistently with content that resounds with your ideal customer, you’re winning. Social media is also an excellent place to build solid relationships with new and existing customers by engaging with them daily.

Write a Blog

You know your business inside out but do your potential customers? Don’t take it for granted that just because you know something about your sector or niche that your customers will know this too. A blog is one of the best ways to attract customers and direct them to your products and services and can add so much value and knowledge to your offerings too. Put yourself in your customers shoes and have a think about what topics they might like to see covered in your blog to attract them to your business.

Showcase Your Team

Last on this list is showcasing yourself and your team to add the human touch to your marketing efforts. People love to see the real people behind a brand or business and it remains a great way to get good engagement on the content you put out to the world. Pose for a candid photo, get some behind the scenes footage and start sharing with your audience.

Has this blog helped you? I would love to know your thoughts or if you would add anything else to this list. Whether you would like an informal chat with me to bounce some ideas or want to talk to me about implementing any of the above, I would love to hear from you.
