With the end of the year nearly upon us, for many this is a time to slow down and reflect on ourselves and our businesses, figure out what worked, what didn’t and what our plan will be for the new year. Here are my thoughts on how you can unwrap success with your marketing in 2024!

Choose the Right Platforms

If you aren’t very active on social media, now is the time to get started! You don’t need to show up on every platform, just the ones that are most suitable and relevant to your business and clientele. Most business people use LinkedIn as an excellent way to connect with like-minded individuals and other business owners. If your business is heavily visual, use Instagram and if you love being a part of the current conversations, Twitter could be the place for you. Check out the different platforms and see which one works for you.

Create Top Quality Content

When you have found your ideal platform/s, it’s now time to fill it with some top quality content to keep your audience entertained and informed on a consistent basis. Never skip on quality, digital is highly competitive and if your content doesn’t grab your audience and pull them in, then someone’s else’s will.

Consider Paid Adverts

If you have pieces of content that do particularly well on your channels and platforms, it might be a good time to consider adding them to paid adverts across social media to gain some more traction and more eyes on your business. Paid ads can work really well to compliment quality content and to reach a specific target audience in a timely manner.

Utilise Email Marketing

Email marketing is one of the number one ways to communicate with your audience and can work exceptionally well if it’s done right. With email marketing you can highly tailor your content to reach the right customer at the right time, encourage traffic to your website and directly communicate your services and latest offers to an interested audience.

Overhaul Your Website

Finally, if don’t have a website, your existing website is slow, clunky, glitchy or plain unattractive, 2024 is the year to create a shiny new one. This doesn’t have to be a daunting task and a lot of businesses opt for a simple one page website to showcase their products, services and offers to their customers.
